Snap Keeper ("the App") is developed by Nettlelite. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

Snap Keeper does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We do not operate any backend server infrastructure. Specifically:

  • No analytics or tracking SDKs are used.
  • No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are collected.
  • No account creation or login is required.
  • No contact, location, or browsing data is collected.

2. Data That Stays on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device:

  • Download count — tracks how many memories you have saved, used to manage the free-tier limit.
  • Duplicate detection hashes — prevents re-downloading the same memory twice.
  • Onboarding completion flag — remembers whether you have seen the tutorial.

This data is deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Photo Library Access

The App requests permission to add photos and videos to your Photo Library. This permission is used solely to save your downloaded Snapchat memories. The App does not read, scan, or upload any existing photos from your library.

4. Network Requests

When you import a Snapchat data export and initiate a download, the App makes direct HTTPS requests to Snapchat's content delivery network (CDN) to retrieve your media files. These requests go directly from your device to Snapchat's servers. No data passes through any server operated by us.

5. In-App Purchases

The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction data (such as purchase receipts and entitlement status) to verify your purchase. This is handled entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. 6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services:

  • Apple StoreKit — for processing in-app purchases.
  • RevenueCat — for purchase management and entitlement verification.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks are integrated.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
